When your work is done, here’s the ENTRY FORM

Entry Deadline: Monday, April 12, 2010 @ 5:30 PM EST

Fee: $145+GST per entry

Age Requirement: None (open to all ages)

Entry Requirements

All entrants must complete the online entry form and submit their work in three pieces: written summary, disc that holds all files related to the entry and awards images.

Entry specs have changed since last year – read and follow guidelines below:

Written Summary (Part 1)

All entrants are asked to submit a written summary of their approach and solution to the brief. The summary must be uploaded in a Word document format during the online registration process and one printed copy should be submitted with the entry disc as well. It should not exceed 250 words.

NOTE: Jury members will evaluate submissions based on the hard copy summary.

Disc Submission (Part 2)

Entrants must submit all of their entry files on one disc that is labeled using their Entry ID Number (given during the online registration process.)

Interactive solutions to the brief can be submitted in one of the two following formats:

  • URL that will take jury directly to the entry or to a non-branded landing page hosting all entry elements (must also provide a navigation path for the jury to follow; this should be included in the same Word document as the written summary)
  • PowerPoint Presentation (.ppt)

Awards Images (Part 3)

Finally, entrants must submit three 7″ x 7″ 300 dpi JPG images (exact size is approximate but should be high-resolution for printing) that will represent the entry both onscreen at the awards gala and in the awards book should it be chosen as a winner. The JPG files should be uploaded online at the time of registration.

Additional Submission Requirements:

    • Avoid using special characters (/, &, \, *, ?, etc.) when naming your files.
    • Identify any files you upload using your last name(s) followed by AIN (ie. SmithAIN or Smith-JohnsonAIN). This is strictly for office use; all entries will be relabeled with an official Entry ID number prior to judging to ensure anonymity during the judging process.
    • Once you’ve completed the online registration form, use the entry ID number given to you to label your disc and hard copy written summary.
    • If entering more than once, please identify each entry by adding a number to the ID (ie. SmithAIN01, SmithAIN02, etc.)

      Evaluation

Jury members will evaluate all entries based on the following evaluation scheme:

      Business Challenge and Objectives: 10%
Do the entrants understand the key business challenge? How well have they defined their objectives in approaching this challenge?

      Insights: 35%
What unique insight(s) into the consumer, product, marketplace and/or competition have the entrants uncovered? Is their proposed creative strategy sound? How well would this solution resonate with and motivate the target audience? Would it get the desired response?

      Innovation & Concept: 35%
Has innovation and creativity been used in conceiving and executing the creative solution? Is the creative idea original and memorable?

      Feasibility: 20%
Can this campaign be executed in the real world? Would a client buy it?
